FIRST Digital – a Sydney and Auckland-based digital marketing agency – has achieved Premier Partner status, the most exclusive tier of the Google Partners programme. The search engine giant recognises top-performing companies in each country which have the latest Google Ads expertise and have delivered on client growth and success.
The newly revamped Google Partners programme has a strict set of requirements which are evaluated on an ongoing basis. It covers expertise in Google’s products such as search ads, mobile ads, display ads and shopping ads. There are three requirement categories for inclusion into the programme, these are:
- Performance – Ensures that the agency can effectively set up and optimally run Google Ads campaigns to achieve the greatest results for clients.
- Spend – Agencies need to maintain a 90-day ad spend of at least $10,000 USD across managed accounts
- Certification – Account strategists need to be certified in Google’s different product areas with a minimum campaign spend over 90 days.
The Premier Partners tier takes it a step further and is reserved for the top 3% of participating companies within a given country. The factors that determine inclusion into the tier are client growth, client retention, product diversification and annual ad spend.
“The Google Partner Program is a great way to identify agencies that have met the highest standards in training and campaign management. Being recognised as one of the top 3% in Australia and New Zealand as a Premier Partner shows that after over 20 years First is still meeting the highest standards in management and optimisation of our clients advertising budgets. Retaining this badge, which we’ve had since the program was introduced, and the access it gives us to exclusive tools and support from Google is a big plus for both our staff development and our clients’ ongoing success.” Said Matt Ware, Head of Operations for FIRST Digital.
