Conceptualising a new online business

Take luxury gift-giving to the world as an engaging app. Incorporate the biggest and best brands and establish a concierge-style recommendation service. Takashimía also has plans to become a financial service provider for payments so the entire business has to work seamlessly across jurisdictions and with Cryptocurrency transactions.
FIRST was engaged to help create a strategy and business case for the new luxury retail brand and financial services company. Takashimía requested a fully interactive prototype to demonstrate the range of features for a mobile application.
User Experience, Brand, Interface Design & Prototype
The unique proposition of Takashimía is to provide a luxury shopping experience to a younger demographic. The interface and brand needed to reflect both a sense of sophistication and fun.
One of the first steps in the project was to conduct a thorough research piece into the competitive space and articulate the opportunities. FIRST managed ongoing collaboration with the business owner and support team in Australia, USA, UK, Thailand, France and UAE to ensure a clear strategy for the application moving forward.
In order to bring the prototype to life FIRST developed a brand proposition, messaging, logo and colour palette along with supporting documentation.
For the prototype itself, all functional aspects of the application from onboarding to general browsing, shopping, purchasing and account management were planned, then wireframes designed and iterated. From these high-fidelity designs and a working POC for the App including a working model for the business was developed.
Other supporting material from presentation templates to marketing and recruitment documentation was also designed by the FIRST team.
